On this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart, the song vaults six places all the way from #13 to #7.
The song scored 30.3 million in all-format airplay audience, 14.9 million streams, and sold 3,000 copies.
Because of its rise in nearly all of the channels, the song has entered the top 10 and has gone on to become Swift’s 41st top ten, extending her record as the most among female acts and her record for the second-most of all time.
Currently, only one artist has more top 10’s than her, and that is Drake.
Originally, ‘Cruel Summer’ was an album track on her ‘Lover’ album, but thanks to fan demand it was made a single this year.
