Readers of That Grape Juice know how passionate we are about music – whether that be past or present.
However, unlike our other segments – Retro Rewind, TGJ Replay, and From The Vault – The Pop Stop is the most in-depth look at Pop songs that may have flown under the radar over the last week that you should know, rather they be from music’s biggest stars or those on the rise.
This week, we want to highlight cuts from Jess Glynne, Jungkook, Troye Sivan, and Blusher .
Join us inside…
Jess Glynne – What Do You Do
After releasing her comeback single ‘Silly Me’ earlier this year, Jess Glynne is turning up the heat with her latest single, ‘What Do You Do.’ An infectious dance-pop tune, the song sees Jess explore a relationship that is equal parts addictive and toxic. A welcome return to her dance and soul roots, Glynne delivers a song of the summer candidate.

Jungkook – Seven
BTS member Jungkook has officially made his solo debut with the help of rapper Latto. The song is entitled ‘Seven’ and it is an invigorating summer anthem that displays plenty of charisma and charm from the singer. Easily one of the best solo songs from the members of BTS, ‘Seven’ promises a bright career ahead for Jungkook.

Troye Sivan – Rush
After taking some time away from music and delving into acting, Troye Sivan is back with his newest single, ‘Rush,’ and what a rush it is. The song is a pulsating club-ready anthem that not only sees the singer explore new territory, but master it on his first try.

Blusher – Limelight
Indie-pop group Blusher is back with their latest EP ‘Should We Go Dance?’ out today. Found on the project is the song ‘Limelight.’ A hypnotic dance-pop tune, the song is complete with lush harmonies and energetic synths. With the release of ‘Should We Go Dance?’ and ‘Limelight’ in particular, Blusher once again asserts themselves as pop’s next big supergroup.
