Did You Miss It? Joyner Lucas Slams “Weirdos” Tinashe & Selena Gomez for Dissing Chris Brown: “No Slander Will Be Tolerated”

Boasting multiple hits with Chris Brown over the years (see: Stranger Things,’ ‘I Don’t Die,’ ‘Just Let Go,’ and others), rapper Joyner Lucas not only considers the R&B bad boy a prized collaborator but also a close friend.

For that reason he’s never been shy about defending the ‘Under the Influence‘ hitmaker against stark criticism – a stance he reiterated recently amid drama stemming from Tinashe taking to ‘The Zach Sang Show‘ to admit she was ‘embarrassed‘ by her duet with Brown (2015’s ‘Player‘).

The two singers clashed in the past about the LuLou-produced song, but reignited the aged beef after Breezy clapped back by suggesting T’s career was ‘nonexistent.’

When news of the virtual fisticuffs came across the desk of Lucas he quickly took to the net to address the “haters” on behalf of Brown.

In the wake of the the headline-grabbing comments from Tinashe and Brown, Selena Gomez was making rounds on the news circuit for looking visibly disgusted at the MTV VMAs (September 12) when the ‘Run It’ hitmaker’s name ran across the screen as a Best R&B Artist nominee.

“I will never be a meme again. I’d rather sit still than be dragged for being myself. Much Love,” the singer-actress said on social media shortly after noticing her name was trending for the reaction.

Having had enough of reading the negative press, Lucas entered the chat with a fiery video posted to his Instagram account (seen above).

“There will be no Chris Brown slander tolerated,” he relayed before later sharing, “I’m talking about you weirdo f*cking celebrity weirdos that go on these podcasts, and keep poppin sh*t on my n***a for absolutely no f*cking reason. B*tches making faces and sh*t.”

Later in the rant, Joyner made clear his loyalty to the ‘Loyal‘ singer by not only stating “I’m standing in front of the f*cking bullet, I’m taking every shot” but reiterating the star’s importance to the culture as he is “the closest thing we have to Michael Jackson.”

Brown not only left a positive comment on the clip but also shared it to his own Instagram page.
