Doja Cat is strutting towards the release of her new studio album ‘Scarlet’ and she’s unlocked another visual taste of the project in the form of the ‘Demons’ music video.
Directed by Doja and Christian Breslauer, the cinematic clip stars actress Christina Ricci.
Within, the visual sees Ricci’s character buy a new house — only to discover that it’s haunted by…Doja.
The video, which follows ‘Attention’ and her current single ‘Paint The Town Red,‘ arrives just days after it was announced that Doja will be taking to the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards 2023 on September 12.

This whole era makes me uncomfortable to experience as a fan for obvious reasons. I’ll sit out anything to do with it until it passes and she returns to the fun, bubbly, comedic Doja I fell in love with years ago.

the video is great, and the song is at times good too. The chorus is aggressive and better than anything she has put out in this era… but that babydoll voice she often uses in the verses is just weird and not credible especially for this era.
Doja is something different. Music needs diversity. She has talent and is super creative. Her visuals and performance are very well done. This era is different but this is not her last era. I feel like many ppl will look back and appreciate it more. She makes good music 🤷♀️
