The Pop Stop: Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, & More Deliver This Week’s Hidden Gems

Published: Friday 8th Sep 2023 by Ryan

Readers of That Grape Juice know how passionate we are about music – whether that be past or present.

However, unlike our other segments – Retro Rewind, TGJ Replay, and From The Vault – The Pop Stop is the most in-depth look at Pop songs that may have flown under the radar over the last week that you should know, rather they be from music’s biggest stars or those on the rise.

This week, we want to highlight cuts from Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, RIIZE, and Tyler Childers .

Join us inside…

Fleetwood Mac – Dreams (Live)

Fleetwood Mac has unleashed ‘Rumors (Live),’ that was recorded during a concert in 1977. The project is stacked with some of their most notable songs, but none more notable than the live version of ‘Dreams.’ Nearly 50 years later and the live recording only solidifies the song as one of the greatest of all time.

The Rolling Stones – Angry

Legendary rock band The Rolling Stones will be releasing their new album ‘Hackney Diamonds’ on October 20 and it will be the group’s first album of original music since 2005. The lead single ‘Angry’ is out now and it is a classic Stones song from the bluesy guitars to Jagger’s infamous vocals. More than a welcome return, ‘Angry’ is a statement from one of the greatest rock bands ever.

RIIZE – Get A Guitar

Incredible K-pop group RIIZE has unleashed their debut single ‘Get A Guitar.’ A funky single, complete with grooving bass lines and snaps, RIZZE command the song with lush harmonies and undeniable charisma. Newly signed to RCA records it is only a matter of time before RIIZE takes over the world and ‘Get A Guitar’ is a prime example of their ability to do so.

Tyler Childers – In Your Love

Country singer Tyler Childers has released his new album ‘Rustin’ In The Rain,’ which is out now. Found on it is the lead single, ‘In Your Love.’ The video itself features a gay love story between two coal minors and is a celebration of queer love. As for the song, it is a fairly simple lovestruck ballad, but that is Childers’ strength and he uses it to its full potential on this must-hear track.
