As has been making headlines all night, what appeared to be a fiery interaction between the GRAMMY-winning rapstress and Justin Timberlake – who was on hand with his reunited group NSYNC to present Taylor Swift one of the night’s earliest awards.
Fans of both performers, based on body language reading alone, believed the two were engaged in an altercation and launched several theories on why such was the case.
However, an eyewitness quickly took to press to put out the fire around the Hot Girl Coach’s brief chat with JT.
“He said, ‘It’s so nice to meet you,’ and she said ‘No, no this don’t count, this don’t count. We gotta meet proper,'” the unnamed source told ‘Variety’ in reference to the video above. “It was very cute.”
At writing, neither Stallion nor Timberlake have addressed the hoopla directly.
