After nearly three decades of mystery, Las Vegas police have finally made an arrest in the murder case of iconic rapper Tupac Shakur.

As is now etched in history, the Hip-Hop legend was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting in 1996 – stunning the world and igniting speculation that has never been quelled.

Today (September 29) has brought with it a major development that could see justice finally served.

Full story below…

Duane “Keffe D” Davis, now 60 years old, has been arrested and charged in relation to the incident.

He faces murder charges with a deadly weapon, as indicted by a Nevada grand jury. The prosecutor, Marc DiaGiacomo, described Davis as the one who “ordered the death” of Shakur, labeling him as the “on-ground, on-site commander.”

Shakur, just 25 at the time of his death, succumbed to his injuries on September 13, 1996, a week after being shot four times while waiting at a red light in Las Vegas.

In the time since, the incident has become almost as big of a legend as the man himself and has formed the focus of countless documentaries, specials, and interviews.

Indeed, prosecutors saw it was a 2018 interview Keffe D have that flagged him on their radar:

In fresh development moments, the mugshot of Davis has been released to the public as the investigation into Tupac’s murder unfolds.
