The countdown to the release of Britney Spears‘ memoir ‘The Woman in Me’ is officially on – and the revelations and flowing in thick and fast.
Justin Timberlake, the singer’s ex, forms the focus of the latest.
For, in a new excerpt from ‘The Woman in Me,’ Spears reveals that she had an abortion while with the NSYNC star.

In a memoir excerpt shared by PEOPLE, Spears said of the late 2000 pregnancy – when she and Timberlake were around 19 years old:
“It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated. But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”
Continuing, she added:
“I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.”
Concluding, Spears revealed the situation still affects her:
“To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.”
Following the couple’s split in 2002, she welcomed two sons – Sean Preston (now 18) and Jayden James (now 17) – with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
‘The Woman in Me’ is released on October 24.

Stfu! We knew she was lying! Remember she cheated on Justin and how she felt sorry for him. The song cry me a river and everytime. The baby she aborted wasn’t from Justin.
It was confirmed years ago that he actually cheated on her first with Nicole Appleton. And even if, that doesn’t justify his nasty behaviour towards her. He’s built his entire solo career on the old tale of “poor Justin being cheated on by Britney” and how he took her virginity. That’s just disgusting behaviour in itself, but now knowing that he did all of that after she went through an abortion? There’s just no excuse.
