And this time, it’s with her hit single ‘Cruel Summer.’
For, the track – which is housed on the megastar’s 2019 album ‘Lover’ – has rocketed to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and etched Swift’s name into the history books anew.

After going viral four years after its release, ‘Summer’ soared eight spots on this week’s tally to snatch pole position.
The single now serves as her 10th #1.
It managed the feat by way of the following US metrics in the latest tracking week:
- 18.6 million streams
- 77.8 million all format radio impressions
- 71,000 downloads (*Includes Price Slash to $0.69)
‘Summer’ becomes the singer’s milestone tenth #1 hit on the Hot 100. It breaks the record for the longest climb to #1 in the history of the chart for a non-holiday song by a female soloist.

Swift has now earned #1’s on the Hot 100 from each of her last seven albums: ‘Red,’ ‘1989,’ ‘Reputation,’ ‘Lover’ (which notably didn’t have a #1 until now), ‘Folklore,’ ‘Evermore,’ and ‘Midnights.’
Furthermore, the Pop titan now ties Ariana Grande as the female artist with the most #1 hits on the Hot 100 this decade (five each).
