Omarion may have missed the Billboard 200 entirely with the May release of his seventh solo studio album, ‘Full Circle: Sonic Book One,’ but the GRAMMY-nominated crooner is circling back to the project with hopes of changing its success narrative.
After a viral response on social media, O has gifted the LP’s housed cut ‘Serious‘ the video treatment.
“It’s that feeling that you get when it feels serious (when it feels serious) / And it’s getting serious (it’s getting serious) / This is more than I want you in tonight / Feels more like I want you here for life,” he sings on the Greg Curtis-produced track.
Co-directed with Deji LaRay, the choreography-laden clip sees the actor-singer portray a prison inmate who finally reunites with his significant other after an extended period of time apart.
Dedicated to men of color who have been wrongfully convicted and imprisoned, the visual ends with a special shout out to Anthony “Boaner” Martinez.

He had all the buzz to be Chris brown’s competition he even came out before him idk why he’s not a bigger star.
He doesn’t have enough STYLE transcend to a different generation. He will forever be stuck in the year 2006 😆 🤣
I was wondering why this hadn’t been posted yet. This and “Company” are the two songs I like from the album. “Serious” has that early 2000s sound that the Underdogs were popular for, and “Company” reminds me of Ne-Yo’s “Handle Me Gently” from last year. This is the sound I want back on the radio and being celebrated at awards shows. Even Victoria Monet is going back to the 90s with her choreography and incorporating jazz the same way Dallas did for TLC. R&B really could be big again – the potential is there and producers are ready to make it happen.
I would love to be his cell mate 😩
This is quality R&B here. Good job Omarion
