While the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is no stranger to courting some of the biggest names in music, this year’s lineup may be its most jam-packed yet.
The week came with news that Pop icon Cher was the latest added to an already stuffed roster of acts performing live at the televised event.
Another chance to show off gems from her chart-topping holiday album, ‘Christmas,’ the 77-year-old diva leads a list of superstars that includes names like Jon Batiste, David Foster and Katharine McPhee, En Vogue, Pentatonix, Chicago, Bell Biv DeVoe, and Brandy.
Speaking of the latter, the R&B veteran – like Cher – is making her diehard fans’ wishes come true by introducing her inaugural holiday LP.
Titled ‘Christmas with Brandy,’ the project hits digital shelves on November 10 on the wings of its November 3-released first single ‘Christmas Party for Two‘ (heard below).
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air on November 23 from 8:30 a.m. to noon ET only on NBC.
