Nicki Minaj fans have long been passionate about the Ray royal.
Indeed, as “stan culture” goes, it’s well established that the “Barbz” do not play when it comes to their fave.
Now, as the revised release date of Minaj’s new album ‘Pink Friday 2,’ draws near, the femcee has issued a PSA of sorts to her supporters.

Taking to Instagram, the 40-year-old asked the Barbz to not “threaten” anyone on her behalf.
She wrote:
“Dear Barbz,
Be sure to never threaten anyone on my behalf. Whether on the internet or in person.
Whether in jest, or not.
I don’t & never have condoned that. We have an amazing album right around the corner 12/08/23.
It feels so surreal & euphoric.
Wishing you blessings on blessings.

The remarks come after Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, made headlines for seemingly threatening Cardi B‘s husband Offset; an offense which ultimately functioned as a violation of his probation and saw him put on house arrest.
Last year, the woman whose claims that Petty sexually assaulted her led to his initial conviction, alleged that she was being threatened by the rapper’s fans after suing the couple and going public with her story in 2021.
‘Pink Friday 2’ drops on December 8.
Responsible. Regardless of how I feel about this lady, I’m actually glad she did this. It doesn’t mean they will listen but at least she doesn’t have (continue to) to feed into the idea that she condones the cyber bullying of other ppl (artists). She didn’t have to but I’m glad she did. Maybe other artists will do the same, AND STAND ON IT.
