2023 Year In Review: Taylor Swift Becomes A Billionaire Thanks to the Highest-Grossing Female Tour of All Time

Published: Tuesday 12th Dec 2023 by Ryan

For better, or for worse, and everything in between, 2023 was a year for the record books.

As the year nears its completion, That Grape Juice is looking back on the moments that shaped the year in the Urban and Pop landscape.

Look below to see how Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ shaped the year.

Beginning in March of this year, Swift embarked on her acclaimed and successful ‘Eras Tour.’ The tour began in Glendale, Arizona. However, before the tour even began, there was difficulty getting tickets, as pre sales broke Ticketmaster.

Once the tour began, it was a monstrous success. USA Today reports that from the first 60 dates alone, the tour has made over $1.04 billion with 4.35 million tickets sold. As a result, it has become the highest-grossing female tour of all time and Swift still has a full year left to tour her many eras.

The news comes after Swift was officially crowned a billionaire by Bloomberg as well.

The ‘Eras Tour’ would be turned into a successful concert film as well.
