With Christmas a mere week away, Mariah Carey has unwrapped another stint atop the Billboard Hot 100!
For, the songbird supreme has flown to the #1 spot on the coveted count with ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You.’

This week sees Carey’s classic climb one spot to the pole position – finally besting Brenda Lee‘s ‘Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree’ (which nabbed its first stint at #1 – 65 years after its release).
In returning to #1, ‘All I Want’ is the first and only release to occupy the Hot 100 top spot on five separate occasions – extending its own record.
Released in 1994 originally, the Christmas anthem hit #1 for the very first time in 2019 (becoming Carey’s 19th overall chart-topper) – 25 years after its arrival. It repeated the feat in 2020, did so again in 2021, and achieved the same in both 2022 and 2023.
Here are the numbers that fuelled its latest touchdown in the latest tracking week:
- 42.2 million US streams.
- 26.1 million audience impressions on radio.
- 8,000 digital downloads.
Since its release, ‘All I Want’ has racked up over 5 billion in radio audience, 2 billion streams, and 5 million in digital downloads.
Queen of Christmas, indeed! Long may she reign.
