If you’re one of Price’s 1 million Instagram followers then you know she was engaged in a virtual fisticuffs over the last week with an aspiring singer who’s believed to be named Queen Tee (@classy_queen_t).
After Tee left what Kelly deemed to be a disparaging comment on one of her posts, the 9x GRAMMY nominee launched into a tirade and slammed the commenter for questioning her faith.
“I was the only artist/judge on [BET’s] ‘Sunday’s Best’ that wasn’t f*cking someone else’s spouse, fornicating, or messing with kids and boys but you have smoke for me,” Kelly asked in a now-deleted rant.
Ouch!
The message was reported by some viewers, which led to Meta (Facebook) removing it. Said response from the social media platform also got a fiery clapback from the ‘As We Lay‘ singer.
Longtime fans of Price know she temporarily served as a judge on BET’s Gospel-inspired answer to ‘American Idol’ called ‘Sunday Best.’
The reality singing competition ran from 2009-2020 and featured Kirk Franklin as its host; judges over its tenure included Mary Mary stars Erica and Tina Campbell, Bebe & Cece Winans, Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, Kim Burrell, Jonathan McReynolds, and Kierra Sheard.
At writing, none of the names above have responded to Kelly’s claim that they were engaged in extramarital affairs or pedophilic behavior.

Kelly you need sit your hypocritical ass down. You didn’t have a problem with nothing while you were benefiting from it especially with R. Kelly your brother SMH. You so bitter about your life you can’t blame everyone for what you went through. I was molested as a child by a family member. Yes it destroyed me and I still struggle with it but I have never been so disillusioned to blame the entire world. You need to get professional help you can well afford it.
For whatever reason, Kelly seems to be easily triggered. But she didn’t have to throw anyone under the bus to make her point. Especially when she’s DIRECTLY benefited from her relationships with the church and her fellow Sunday Best judges. Not only is Kelly not a nice person, she isn’t smart either.
I say let the throwing commence and continue! They all need and deserve to be thrown under the bus (and jail too, when it pertains to any illegal acts) for such behavior! She is simultaneously throwing herself under the bus as well for being complicit, but at this point, I don’t think she cares about that, she just wanted to get it off her chest,
regardless of personal implications.
If she was being specific and calling out names, I would agree with the her throwing folks under the bus. But she’s purposely being ambiguous and callous because she’s more than likely lying just to deflect attention from the original issue they came at her with. You’re right, she probably doesn’t care. But eventually she will. Because those checks will dry up again.

The church is God’s body of people, and “for where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there among them” (Matthew 18:20). God’s spirit will move among his people wherever they are. And the Bible already tells us there will be imposters, so there should be no surprise today. Jesus was betrayed by one of his own followers. It doesn’t mean Christianity is evil. It means we live in a fallen world and some will choose to serve the wrong master. There are still good Christian people who are truly sold out for Christ.
