Two years after watching her breakthrough single ‘Hrs & Hrs‘ become one of the biggest R&B hits of 2022, Muni Long looks well on her way to boasting the same for 2024 thanks to her latest smash ‘Made for Me.’
Bolstered by an explosive reception at Tik Tok due to an attached viral challenge, ‘Made for Me’ made its way to #8 on Billboard’s updated Hot R&B Songs chart – a feat only surpassed by its standing on the current Adult R&B Airplay (#3) and R&B Song Sales charts (#2) respectively.
After coupling with its handsome performance on major streaming platforms, the aforementioned sales and radio stats gave Muni just the boost needed to crack this week’s Hot 100.
Planted at #93, the tune marks just the third time in the singer-songwriter’s storied career that she’s been printed on the all-genre chart (as a performer) following the #16 and #65 peaks of ‘Hrs’ and ‘Angel (with Kodak Black, NLE Choppa, Jimin, and JVKE)’ respectively.
As if that’s not enough to boast, industry analysts predict the Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox-produced jam will hop into the top 50 next week!
