20 years after the Lindsay Lohan-led ‘Mean Girls’ stormed theaters and history books to become the cinematic cult classic it is today, its Broadway musical adaptation is looking for a similar response at the box office of the classic with its January 12 opening.
To accompany its wide release, the movie’s official soundtrack has landed on major digital streaming platforms.
Led by the Renee Rapp and Megan Thee Stallion tag team ‘Not My Fault‘ (which serves as one of two brand new original tracks featured), many of the rest of the songs – performed by the new film’s cast Rapp, Angourie Rice, Auliʻi Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, and others – are updated takes on favorites from the Broadway adaptation.
