Taylor Swift may have left the 2024 Golden Globe Awards emptyhanded, but her record-breaking concert film ‘Eras‘ is still winning at the box office.
Released October 13, the ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ film enjoyed a historic premiere when it debuted to nearly $100 million its opening weekend.
Since then, the Sam Wrench-directed flick has gone on to collect over $261.6 million globally – making it the highest-grossing motion picture in box office history among concert and documentary ventures.
The previous record holder, 2009’s ‘Michael Jackson’s This Is It,’ grossed $261.2 million over its lifetime at the global box office.
