Beating out megahits like Taylor Swift‘s ‘Anti-Hero,’ Olivia Rodrigo‘s ‘Vampire,’ Billie Eilish‘s ‘What Was I Made For,’ and Doja Cat‘s ‘Paint the Town Red,’ Cyrus captured the Best Pop Vocal Solo Performance award for her 2023 hit ‘Flowers.’

Presented by Mariah Carey, a stunned Miley accepted the award with a heartfelt tale about how she never thought she would own the coveted trophy (as seen above).

Named the top female song of 2023 by Billboard, ‘Flowers’ not only holds the personal milestone for being her longest-charting #1 hit but now her first song tied to a GRAMMY win.
