Shakira has announced her long-awaited new album, ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran,’ and it’s set to arrive sooner than you may think.

Moments ago, the global superstar revealed that her 12th studio effort will be unleashed on March 22.
The long-awaited project will serve as Shakira’s first album in seven years.
Comprised of 16 tracks, the record will feature previously released tracks including ‘Music Sessions Vol. 53′ with Bizarrap, ‘TQG’ with Karol G, ‘Te Felicito’ with Rauw Alejandro, and ‘Copa Vacía’ with Manuel Turizo. Collectively the cuts have amassed over 3.7 billion streams.
Speaking on the LP, Shakira said in a statement:
“Making this body of work has been an alchemical process. While writing each song I was rebuilding myself. While singing them, my tears transformed into diamonds, and my vulnerability into strength.”

I’m a Shakira fan, but her albums were blah after Sal el sol. She needs to go back to her roots black hair and give us a full length Spanish album none of this reggaton etc.

What bothers me with Shakira, her songs used to be a blend of so many genres.
Lately she’s just been doing average generic reggaeton tracks.
She’s half Lebanese and has explored such sounds just once on Ojos Asi.
She could bring so much more on the table.
No one asked for this mess. Please give it up. She has tried for years to break it in the English music market and she will flop this time around as well. Give it up please.
