Eagled-eyed supporters of Xtina have noted that her official website now features the logo for 5020 Records.
The imprint, which also follows Aguilera on its social channels (alongside its broader roster), bills itself as “A New Sony Music US Label.”
If indeed she has ventured to pastures new, it would mean Aguilera has made a lateral move within the Sony Music infrastructure (as RCA is also housed within the Sony family of labels).
It’s of note that the diva is still featured on the artist roster of the RCA website.
In any case, with new music promised, it seems we’ll find out what the next chapter of her career holds soon.
