With the midweek data tallied, ‘Cowboy Carter’ is charging ahead of the competition and is on track to become Queen Bey’s fifth #1 on the Official UK Album Chart.
What’s more, the LP is currently outselling the entire top 5. Yes, the entire top 5.
Should the numbers hold, the project will join the diva’s previous UK chart-toppers:‘Dangerously In Love’ (2003), ‘4’ (2011), ‘Lemonade’ (2016), and ‘Renaissance’ (2022). She also occupied the top spot with Destiny’s Child, who hit #1 with ‘Survivor’ (2001).
But wait, there’s more.
Beyonce is also set to return to #1 on the Official UK Singles Chart with ‘Texas Hold ‘Em.’ It would see the track nab its fifth non-consecutive week atop the tally – and will see the superstar pull off the coveted chart double.
Elsewhere on the count, ‘Jolene’ is poised to launch at #5 and Miley Cyrus collaboration ‘II Most Wanted’ is set to premiere at #8.
