Former First Lady Michelle Obama is singing the praises of Beyonce and her ‘Cowboy Carter’ album.

Taking to her social media accounts, Obama sung the praises of Beyonce and also urged fans to vote.
“@Beyonce, you are a record-breaker and history-maker. With ‘Cowboy Carter’, you have changed the game once again by helping redefine a music genre and transform our culture. I am so proud of you!” she said.
“Cowboy Carter’ is a reminder that despite everything we’ve been through to be heard, seen, and recognized, we can still dance, sing, and be who we are unapologetically. This album reminds us that we ALL have power. There’s power in our history, in our joy, and in our votes — and we can each use our own gifts and talents to make our voices heard on the issues that matter most to us,” Obama shared.
“Together, we can stand up for what we believe in, and we must do that at the ballot box this year. The issues that impact us most are on the ballot across the country — from equal pay and racial justice to reproductive healthcare and climate change. And as Queen Bey says at the end of Ya Ya, we need to ‘keep the faith’ and ‘VOTE!'” her post said later on.

I agree I loved the album, but I wish she had more smash hits. To me it feels like a bunch of deep cuts, that are great to listen to, but not so radio friendly or that you can play at the rodeo bars
I agree with this 100%, appreciate it for what its doing aorund perception and genres, but its not as accessible or as instantly likeable as Renaissance.

I feel like if someone else made that album it will be criticised by everyone and the media. They only praise it because she’s Beyoncé and that’s completely unusual, so it feels unnatural. Like they’re building her up for a big fall like MJ.
The production on the album is amazing but the lyrical content is primitive, which is surprising because she had so many excellent writers. But the album its self is NOT gonna stand the test of time and isn’t better than her previous albums.
I just feel like I can see a big fall coming for her because there’s no where else to go and I hate that. Also, I know her peers don’t like her which is why she won’t win the album of the year Grammy. Especially after JayZ’s stunt at the last Grammys
