Kendrick Lamar looks set to fly in at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with his blazing Drake diss track ‘Not Like Us.’

The fiery war of words between the Hip-Hop titans has engulfed the ‘net all week and the chatter online is translating into seismic streams for both artists.
Especially Lamar – who has blazed with a back-to-back anthems ‘Euphoria,’ ‘6:16 in LA, ‘Meet The Grahams,’ and now ‘Not Like Us.’
Kung Fu Kenny looks set to karate chop the competition (which includes his own tracks) with the latter.
For, forecasters are predicting that the song will launch at #1 on the coveted count.
This would be off the back of its historic streaming performance.
As of writing, Lamar sits atop of the Spotify Artist Chart and the streamer’s daily songs tally after ‘Not Like Us’ amassed a whopping 10.98 million streams in the latest 24 hours. Of that sum, 6.59 million are US-based streams (which factor into the Hot 100 equation).
The latter total sees the song make history by delivering the highest single-day streams for a Hip-Hop song ever – besting the previous record set by none other than…Drake (with ‘Girls Want Girls’ featuring Lil Baby).
Over on Apple Music, Lamar also reigns at #1.

And that’s how you know Kendrick won the war. Drizzy is popstar who happens to rap. The only thing he cares about is streaming numbers and hits. Kendrick used traditional hip to actually challenge the male Katy Perry and won.
