The original incarnation of Kehlani‘s banging comeback single, ‘After Hours,’ already contained a throwback t0 2004 with its prominent sample of Nina Sky‘s signature smash ‘Move Ya Body.’
But, just as the April 4-dropped ‘Hours’ continued racking up spins and downloads on digital outlets its GRAMMY-nominated creator has lifted its official remix – this time throwing it back to the 2004 hit ‘Cater 2 U’ found aboard Destiny’s Child‘s last studio album ‘Destiny Fulfilled.’
“Why don’t you stay? / Stay here after hours / I know you don’t wanna leave / Stay here after hours,” she wails on the slowed down version of the dancefloor-ready bop.

This is cute! Amorphous’s impact is so real tho these type of mixes are back in and we love to see it
They don’t go together well imo
It’s nice. Was it needed? No. I preferred her earlier music. There’s a reason her mixtape was Grammy nominated. It was personal. The concept was relatable. Not like this generic music. Thankfully her voice/singing is still strong, and unique to her. Beautiful runs and tone.
she looks better without a clown ass wig
