Before Chance the Rapper fans can make a beeline to digital outlets to hear ‘Star Line,’ his forthcoming album, the GRAMMY winner is still whetting appetites with tastes of what the new project is set to serve.
After ending April with the deeply personal cut ‘Buried Alive,’ Chance follows with the equally touching, DJ Premier-assisted ‘Together.’
“If you keep the house in the family, you can keep the family in the house / If you on the run, you got family in the South,” he raps on the new tune also produced by Premier. “We used to watch “Annie, Are You Okay?” on the couch / My cousin used to slam me ’til I punched him in the mouth / My aunty used to cook for twenty people every week / My uncle in the basement, even if they never speak.”
Accompanied by its official music video directed by Chance himself, hop inside to get acquainted with ‘Together.’
