Taking to her Instagram Stories, the singer shared a candid picture of her in the studio. In the pic, SZA can be seen in front of a soundboard with someone standing behind her.
She did not caption the picture or have a sound with it, leaving fans wondering what she could be cooking up.
The news of SZA returning to the studio comes after the singer scraped her ‘SOS’ deluxe album ‘Lana’ and vowed to start the album all over again.
“So we’ll make the really simple. Y’all leaked 3 songs from the deluxe. Atp y’all can keep the throw aways and leaks. I’ll be starting ‘LANA’ from scratch do not ask me about it again. Thank you,” she said at the time.
Me and my friends say this a lot. If SZA had a better team (and ruthless pusher type team) she could release content more frequently. Strike while the irons hot. No one wants teases or previews. We want content. There’s a reason Rihanna is where she is now. The same for Taylor. Talent for some yes. Connecting with their fans easy in this day and age. But it’s the regular content feeding fans that can catapult an artist. I hope there’s no more five year waits for SZA between projects.
