Hitmaker The-Dream is facing a series set of allegations including sexual battery, abuse, and trafficking.

The producer, who has helmed hits for the likes of Rihanna, Britney Spears, and Justin Bieber has been hit been hit with a lawsuit from protégé Chanaaz Mangroe.
She claims the star- born Terius Nash – roped her into a relationship with false promises of launching her music career. Yet, instead of morphing her into a star, he stands accused of carrying out “violent sexual acts and vicious psychological torture.”
Per the suit, The-Dream allegedly sponsored the extension of the Netherlands-born singer’s US visa, fuelling hopes that it would lead to her big break.
She claims that one instance saw him lock her in a dark room and “violently” have sex with her, while she was naked and alone “for hours on end.” He’s said to have returned shorty after to repeat the act.
Mangroe further claims she was “frequently strangled” during their sexual intercourse and she regularly lost consciousness. She says the producer also recorded some of the acts.
Speaking on the suit, she said:
“Ultimately, my silence has become too painful, and I realized that I need to tell my story to heal. I hope that doing so will also help others and prevent future horrific abuse.”
