GloRilla‘s ‘Yeah Glo‘ has already been etched as a personal milestone in her storied career for being her first solo top 40 hit on the Hot 100, but this week the Go Grizzly-produced bop zoomed past Flo Milli‘s breakout hit ‘Never Lose Me‘ to win the title of longest-charting female Rap hit of 2024.
See how inside.
The updated Hot 100 shows ‘Yeah Glo’ printed at #50 in its 23rd week of charting. Here are the numbers that powered the placement.
- Streaming ≈ 9.1 million U.S.-based streams
- Radio airplay ≈ 17.9 million audience impressions
- Sales ≈ 400 digital downloads
Thanks to its extended stay on the all-genre chart, ‘Glo’ becomes the longest-charting hit of GloRilla’s career – besting the 22-week run of her Cardi B-assisted smash ‘Tomorrow 2.’
Further, the tenancy of ‘Glo’ also makes it the year’s longest-charting hit by a female rapper as it’s exceeded the 21-week print of Flo’s ‘Never Lose Me.’
Among all femcees over the 65-year history of the Hot 100, only Cardi B, Missy Elliott, Lizzo, Lauryn Hill, Latto, Doja Cat, and Nicki Minaj can boast having at least one solo song chart for 23 weeks or more.
At writing, Doja’s ‘Woman‘ holds the overall record for longest Hot 100 stay among female rap tunes (52 weeks).
