While Kelly Osbourne‘s spell in the spotlight has spanned more than two decades, the media maven’s attempt at a music career was short-lived.
Riding off the early 00s success of the hit MTV reality show ‘The Osbournes,’ the then-teen embarked on a mission to follow in the artistic footsteps of her famous father Ozzy Osbourne.
The result?
Singles such as her panned Madonna cover ‘Papa Don’t Preach’ and its housing 2002 album ‘Shut Up’ – which peaked at a disappointing #101 on the Billboard 200.
Now, after going on to anchor herself in the television hosting arena, Kelly has revealed that she “regrets” leaving music behind.
Full story below…
Speaking in the latest episode of her The Osbournes family podcast, the 39-year-old said:
“I’ve definitely thought about (getting back into music). I’ve definitely thought about what my life would have been like if I didn’t stop. It’s definitely a regret. Will I do anything about that regret? I don’t know.”
When her parents Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne were asked about why she hung up her mic, Mom diplomatically said “She was a rebel.” While her father frankly quipped “Drugs.”

Diva is still remembering how this racist piece of white trash mocking Latin women cleaning the bathroom with other b it ches on the view. #NEVER FORGET, NEVER FORGIVE.
Her second album “Sleeping in the nothing” is criminally underrated.. the album is full of 80s influence synth pop which was ahead of its time. Imagine if she released around this time, she could’ve been more successful. This needs to be on a Vinyl!!!
Back then I would’ve said yes but now? What her Ozempic bobble head gon do for us or music? Nothing. Her and Sharon were so cool but turned into corny and basic rich ladies
As a kid I honestly loved her music, she should do more like “one word” again. Her pop album was cute but her rock/pop/electro sound was everything
