Dawn Richard wowed the 2024 Essence Festival of Culture in her hometown of New Orleans at the start of the month.
Now, the eclectic star is closing out July by saluting the band she broke through with – Danity Kane.
Richard’s rousing set featured a special DK medley – in a nod to her time with fellow members Aubrey O’Day, Aundrea Fimbres, D. Woods, and Shannon Bex.
In toasting both the Essence gig and her DK days, the performer has unlocked a special pre-show performance medley of ‘Damaged’ and the band’s debut single ‘Showstopper.’
