Miley Cyrus seemingly wants to put her landmark ‘Bangerz’ era behind her.
More details below…
The superstar accepted her Disney Legend award on August 11 and spoke about her past eras, according to US Weekly.
“I definitely wasn’t created in a lab, but if I was, there must’ve been a bug in the system which caused me to malfunction somewhere between the years of 2013 and [20]16,” she said in her speech, seemingly referencing her ‘Bangerz’ era.
The past music era was successful and landed her the first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single of her career with ‘Wrecking Ball’ as well as the top 10 hit ‘We Can’t Stop.’
Despite her spectating herself from that era, she is still proud to have been Hannah Montana.
“I stand here still proud to have been Hannah Montana. In so many ways, this award is dedicated to Hannah and all of her amazing loyal fans, and to everyone who has made my dream a reality. To quote the legend herself, ‘This is the life,’” she concluded.
Not surprised…that era of her career was shared between her and Rihanna both due to her copying Rih’s rated R and talk that talk era heavily during that time. Ironically though, it was her best era after that I’d say Endless Summer is def second 👍👍
