BOA was a great video but I wish Meg would’ve submitted HISS. Anyway, I think this will be the first VMAs in a long time that I’m definitely not invested in, unless Meg or Bey show up to perform

      lol 😂

They should just name them the Taylor swift awards at this point 🙄
Even when this girl releases bad music/music video they will applaud her for being mediocre. I’m going to give it a pass and just follow on the socials for the newer artists

      lol 😂 cry about it

So happy my girl Charli got around 2 noms. Wish Megan and Tyla were included in the bigger categories

How is Beyonce nominated for an award when this is a VIDEO music award show and none of her songs have a video..

    • EagleEyed August 7, 2024

Same thought myself. She released ZERO visuals for Renaissance and Cowboy Carter. The concert movie does NOT count. Nominating her at the VMAs for at least 1 award is pointless. It sends the wrong message to other nominees that you can make it in an album era without one after all. (PS:not that I have anything against a message like that…but kinda awkward for the VMAs’ purpose lol)

MTV VMA has really gone to the bottom right next to the grammys it used to be really great but I guess that is the climate of today’s music there’s to much out and not everybody is talented and then they have like 10 people.in a category like why?? Then they wanna change rules so you don’t have to have a video now to be nominated like really that must be just for their ratings ijs
