Diddy has hit back at a bombshell lawsuit filed by Danity Kane star Dawn Richard.

As reported, the singer – who the Bad Boy mogul discovered on MTV‘s Making The Band – levelled a number of allegations against the embattled mogul.

These included claims of sexual and verbal abuse, as well as death threats. Richard also asserts that she witnessed severe acts of violence allegedly carried by Diddy on ex Cassie (who settled her own suit with Diddy within days of filing last year).

Now, Diddy (born Sean Combs) has responded by way of his legal rep.

The 54-year-old’s attorney Erica Wolff blasted Richard’s claims as being nothing more than a shakedown designed to plug her forthcoming album.

Read the full statement:

“Mr. Combs is shocked and disappointed by this lawsuit. In an attempt to rewrite history, Dawn Richard has now manufactured a series of false claims all in the hopes of trying to get a pay day — conveniently timed to coincide with her album release and press tour. If Ms. Richard had such a negative experience with Making the Band and Danity Kane, she would not have chosen to continue working directly with Mr. Combs for Dirty Money, nor would she have returned for the Making the Band reboot in 2020 or agreed to be featured on The Love Album last year. It’s unfortunate that Ms. Richard has cast their 20-year friendship aside to try and get money from him, but Mr. Combs is confidently standing on truth and looks forward to proving that in court.”

The response comes amidst a mountain of sexual abuse lawsuits filed against Diddy.

It also comes a day after a male accuser won a default judgement to the tune of $100 million after the music maestro failed to show up at court.
