Usher has invited the world to a show like no other with the arrival of his new concert movie, ‘Rendezvous in Paris.’
Directed by Anthony Mandler, the slick production chronicles the ‘Confessions’ singer’s critically acclaimed residency in the French capital last Fall.
Embracing a model popularized by Beyonce and Taylor Swift, the King of R&B has gone the cinematic route – unleashing the film in theaters worldwide for a limited run.
In a new interview with the New York Post, Usher waxed candid about “absolutely” being inspired by the Pop queens.
Watch the full interview below…
‘Usher: Rendezvous in Paris’ is in theaters until September 15.
Why is Usher acting like he’s still RELAVANT?, he’s just a LEGACY ACT. King of R&B yes… relavant? NO ICON? Maybe.
he doesn’t need to kiss Taylor’s ass at all. i was like WHY????
Christopher Maurice Brown is the KING OF R&B fatty
There’s always a place for icons. Many younger R&B peers cite him as an inspiration… b2k, omarion, Chris Brown, jacques etc.
Put sons RESPECT on his name
Point of reference @16:00 mark
I predict film will gross $18M globally.
Will flop just like Brandy’s movie
hunnie, u don’t have to ass kissing Taylor’s mayo ass. U making history even before she was born so.. u are doing too much and he is gonna vote for Trump secretly
Of course He Was “INSPIRED” by TWO OF THE BIGGEST MEGA STAR FEMALES IN THE GAME RIGHT NOW-THAT IS, BEFORE QUEEN RIHANNA DROPS R9!-AIN’T REALLY NOBODY REACHING THOSE ACCOMPLISHMENTS LIKE TW & BKC AT THE MOMENT.
Of course Usher wants IN on that type of success & Stardom. I’m not at all surprised.
Usher enjoyed that level of success and stardom in 2004, so there is nothing new.
