Rihanna Says GloRilla Is the Ideal Savage x Fenty Theme Song Creator / Rapper Doubles Down on Wanting A Collab: “The Navy Will Love It”

The love fest between Rihanna and GloRilla continues to warm the hearts of their respective fan bases (#Navy and #GloRidaz).

Rih first showed Glo love when she took to social media to rock out to the Rap hitmaker’s summer smash ‘TGIF,’ even later quizzing the Memphis beauty on when her debut album would drop.

The same week the project (titled ‘Glorious‘) landed on shelves in a big way, the Pop diva also made headlines for suggesting GloRilla’s next hit may come as the result of a collaboration of sorts between them.

See how inside.

While hot on the promo trail for ‘Glorious,’ the rapstress was spotted at ‘Entertainment Tonight’ dishing on the project’s lead single ‘Hollon‘ and more.

Once quizzed on her thoughts about Rih dancing to ‘Hollon’ on Instagram, Glo beamed.

“I was at BET Awards rehearsal about to get ready to do my performance when I got on IG and saw Rihanna dancing to my song. Everybody knows I love Rih Rih – you know they say I look like her,” GloRilla said laughing. “It felt good [to get recognition from her].”

The ‘Yeah Glo’ hitmaker says Rihanna’s quizzing about when ‘Glorious’ would drop inspired her to hurry and finish it, and only amplified her desire to share studio time with the Pop diva.

“I would love to do a collab with Rih Rih, hopefully it’s possible one day. I really love her music and I feel like my fan base would love it. The Navy going to love it too, so why not,” Glo said.

That collaboration opportunity may be coming sooner than the Memphis beauty knows.

Not long after Glo’s time at ‘ET,’ Rih was spotted working the red carpet of the recent Savage x Fenty Nordstrom’s preview to celebrate the debut of the Lavish Lace collection.

She quickly name-dropped the rapper as the ideal artist to create a theme song for the brand if one existed.

“Just to see a young lady who’s still grounded in who she is and where she came from, and I love that,” the Bajan hitmaker said.

Once word landed on Glo’s desk she didn’t hesitate to accept the challenge.

“Lemme head to da studio & start working on dis song! ion play bout rihrih. @badgalriri I luv youuu,” she captioned the video above to her 5.4 million followers on Instagram.
