The Songwriters Hall of Fame is back for its 2025 edition. And a lengthy list of notable names have been nominated for possible induction into the coveted Hall.

Among them are the likes of Janet Jackson, Eminem, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, and Hip-Hop supergroup N.W.A.

Moments ago, the full list of nominees was unveiled.

Each boasting colossal careers, they are all in the running to have their songwriting specifically celebrated with a spot in the Class of 2025.

Songwriters with a catalog of notable songs qualify for induction 20 years after their first significant commercial release. Per organizers, the honor toasts:

“The exceptional work and lives of composers and lyricists who make an indelible impact creating music around the world.”

A gala induction ceremony takes place next year in New York City and will see honorees join Hall of Famers such as Mariah Carey and JAY-Z.
