With two of 2024’s biggest hits to their credit (‘Lose Control’ and ‘A Bar Song’), Teddy Swims and Shaboozey were expected shoo-ins for nominations and performances at this year’s Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs).
Ahead of the highly anticipated show’s arrival to screens on December 12, the new-school hitmakers were confirmed to be two of a slew of big names slated to rock the ceremony’s stage.

Airing live from Las Vegas, the 2-hour ceremony will not only feature rocking performances from Swims and Shaboozey but also Jelly Roll, Megan Moroney, Linkin Park, Tyla, Fuerza Regida, Stray Kids, Coldplay, Seventeen, and more.
Hosted by actress and comedian Michelle Buteau, the showings will roll out on Fox, Amazon’s Fire TV, on-demand on Paramount+, Billboard.com, social media, and on Hulu on Friday (December 13).
Honoring the year’s biggest artists, albums, songs, producers, and songwriters, the data to support the award winners comes from year-end commercial performance metrics on Billboard’s charts between October 28, 2023, to October 19, 2024.
