Chris Brown may have set the net on fire when he dropped a whopping $500 million lawsuit against Warner Bros. Discovery on Tuesday (January 21) for a documentary that he alleges paints him as a serial sexual abuser, but the GRAMMY winner is already looking to move past the drama and get back to business.
After dropping the shocking lawsuit, Brown offered yet another surprise to his beloved fans (affectionately called #TeamBreezy) when he announced he would finally drop the visuals for his smash hit ‘Residuals.’
“Tell me who, who’s getting all my love? / Who’s getting all my love / Tell me who, who’s getting all my time / All of that used to be mine / Who did you teach what I taught you,” he croons.
The Travis Colbert-directed clip arrives over 9 months after Chris picked the Blaq Tuxedo-produced cut to be a single from the deluxe edition of his last album ’11:11.’
Even without an accompanying visual, however, ‘Residuals’ is one of the GRAMMY winner’s best-performing solo singles yet having racked up 20 weeks on the Hot 100 (#58 peak so far).
