R&B singer Daniel Caesar has found himself in the thick of social media discourse after allegedly suggesting Beyoncé‘s historic Grammy win may have not been the most deserving.

The ‘Best Part’ hitmaker allegedly to social media to express that Billie Eilish‘s ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ was more deserving of Album of the Year (AOTY) over Queen Bey’s ‘Cowboy Carter’. He’s alleged to posted (and deleted) a screenshot of a text on his Instagram with the caption:
“Billie Eilish should’ve won the aoty search your feelings you know it to be true.”

Caesar’s post comes as The BeyHive and fans of Eilish have both been weighing in on their opinions since the GRAMMYs aired.
Beyond the ladies, Caesar himself is being stung on social media too.
He never really bounced back from his cancellation. He must like it there lol!

This is her first album to appeal to the general public instead of Gen Z only so I kinda get it but Billie will be fine. She’s won Grammys based on hype over substance before, she and her brother are still Grammy darlings, she’ll win some more in the future

Beyonce only won to appease Jay Z after his speech last year practically begging them to give her AOTY. I’m surprised Taylor was snubbed this year. Now that was well deserved.
