In news certain to make fans of Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars crack a smile, the dynamic duo’s GRAMMY-winning duet – ‘Die with a Smile‘ – has reclaimed the Hot 100’s top spot after temporarily being bumped from the perch by Travis Scott.
Just a week after capturing the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance trophy for ‘Smile’ at the 2025 GRAMMYs (February 2), Mars and Gaga learned the D’Mile-produced cut has won the Hot 100’s championship position for a fifth non-consecutive week.
Here are the numbers that powered the placement.
- Sales = 10,000 digital downloads
- Streaming = 28.6 million U.S.-based streams
- Radio airplay = 62.5 million audience impressions
For Gaga, the song marks the second longest-reigning no. 1 hit of her career following 2011’s ‘Born This Way‘ which reigned for 6 weeks.
Should ‘Smile’ hold tight to the position for another week she will match her all-time personal record.
Like ‘Smile,’ the singer’s ‘Abracadabra‘ made major moves on the week’s Hot 100 with some industry analysts predicting the song will premiere as high as #30 on Tuesday’s full chart (February 11) despite having an abbreviated sales tracking week due to its arrival on February 2.
