The Tennessee native has earned her latest Gold certification for her 2019 hit ‘The Rain,’ which has sold over 500,000 units.
Featured on her fifth studio album, ‘All Monsters Are Human’, ‘The Rain” is a racy anthem produced by Jazze Pha and prominently samples the iconic New Edition hit ‘Can You Stand the Rain.‘ The song peaked at #8 on the Billboard US Adult R&B Songs in February 2020.
Since then, Michelle has dropped the R&B album ‘I’m The Problem’‘ in 2023, which brings together elements from all her past projects.
The artist has also ventured into country music and signed with BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville and is currently on tour for ‘Jayson’s Lyric‘, a motion picture-turned-stage play.
