Topping this week’s Billboard 200 with the biggest opening sales of his career to date isn’t exactly inspiring The Weeknd to rest on his laurels.
As critical and commercial acclaim continues to roll in for his latest set, ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow,’ the Canadian hitmaker is giving on-the-fence music lovers yet another reason to check out the LP by gifting its fan-favorite ‘Cry for Me’ the video treatment.
“And I hope you cry for me like I cry for you / Every night for you, take it easy on me, baby / ‘Cause I tried with you, saw my life with you / End of time with you, now we’re strangers,” he croons over Metro Boomin production.
Arriving a week after the singer-songwriter gave the song its first live performance as a surprise guest at the 2025 GRAMMYs (ending his highly publicized boycott of the event), hop inside to see the eerie, black-and-white clip for ‘Cry.’
