As music lovers continue to grapple with the sudden loss of R&B legend Angie Stone, they’ve turned to her music in a big way for comfort.

As reported here, Stone’s life was claimed in a fatal car crash near Montgomery, Alabama on March 1.

The 63-year-old soared to reverence in the music industry for her R&B, neo-Soul, and Hip-Hop-flavored hits over her four-decade career, and now prized entries from her discography are being celebrated with jaw-dropping sales and streams in her memory.

According to Luminate, Angie’s entire catalog earned just over 621,000 official U.S.-based streams in the week preceding her passing. During the week of her passing, however, that number skyrocketed to a whopping 1,263% to over 8.4 million official streams.

In fact, 1999’s ‘No More Rain‘ scored 2.1 million U.S. streams by itself — a 538% boost from the week prior. Additionally, Stone’s fan favorites ‘Wish I Didn’t Miss You’ (up 1,008%) and ‘Brotha‘ (up 2,026%) enjoyed sizable upticks in activity.

Beyond the streams, Billboard reports her catalog’s sales have gone up 10,700% in the time since her untimely passing.

It’s expected that streaming and sales activity will continue well into the coming days as Stone’s memorial service will likely showcase some of her greatest hits in her memory.
