Mariah Carey is taking her ‘Celebration of Mimi‘ international.

The legendary singer revealed that she’ll be honoring the 20th anniversary of her iconic 2005 album, ‘The Emancipation of Mimi,’ with a special international leg of the trek following its Las Vegas residency. It will be hitting Asia this May and again in the fall.
Speaking on the jaunt, Carey gushed :
“I’m bringing The Celebration of Mimi worldwide! I can’t wait to perform for all of you in this unforgettable anniversary year of The Emancipation of Mimi. More dates are coming soon!”
‘The Emancipation of Mimi’ – which is home to ‘We Belong Together,’ ‘It’s Like That,’ and ‘Shake It Off’ – debuted at #1 on the charts with 404,000 copies sold in its opening week.
The tour will kick off in Shanghai, China on May 16, followed by a second show there on May 17. Then, she’ll be back in Asia this fall, with shows scheduled for October 11 in Bangkok, Thailand, and October 14 in Manila, Philippines.
Mimi will continue the celebration with a stop in Kobe, Japan on October 28, wrapping up the tour with two performances in Yokohama, Japan on November 1-2.
