R&B singer Brian McKnight is firing back in court after explosive accusations made by vocalist turned conspiracy theorist Jaguar Wright.

In a lawsuit filed this week, McKnight accuses Wright of launching a campaign of malicious lies, including claims that he hired and physically abused prostitutes during sexual encounters, allegations he flatly denies.
Wright didn’t stop there — she also alleged that McKnight abused his ex-wife, Julie McKnight, whom she claims is her cousin. But McKnight is calling foul, saying not only are the abuse claims false, but he was unaware of any supposed family tie between the two women.
McKnight shared:
“I never ab*sed my ex-wife and had no idea about her alleged relation to Jaguar,”
The suit slams Wright for knowingly spreading damaging falsehoods with the intent to destroy his reputation. McKnight’s legal team says it’s time to end what they call a pattern of slanderous behavior.
This isn’t Wright’s first brush with controversy. In a recent Piers Morgan interview, she made waves by making unsubstantiated claims against Jay-Z and others.
