As Kendrick Lamar and SZA thrill global audiences on the ‘Grand National Tour‘ with live renditions of their respective hits, their joint effort – ‘luther‘ – continues to sing its way to Hot 100 milestones.
‘luther’ already sits in both stars’ personal logs as their respective longest-reigning #1 hit on the all-genre chart, but now the ‘GNX‘-housed cut is pushing toward overall Hot 100 history books.
Here are the numbers that powered its stay atop the tally for a ninth consecutive week.
- Radio airplay: 67.5 million audience impressions
- Streaming: 25 million U.S.-based streams
- Sales: 2,000 digital downloads
Bolstered in great part by the premiere of its official music video on April 11, the extended stay of ‘luther’ is now the second longest of any Hip-Hop song released this decade.
With its ninth frame at #1, the Sounwave-produced bop passes 24kGoldn’s ‘Mood‘ (8 weeks at #1) to command the 2020’s #2 spot behind Roddy Ricch’s ‘The Box‘ (11 weeks at #1).

Kendrick needs to give King Drake his flowers. He was a nobody prior to their beef. A common ashy flop🤣
