Justin Bieber has broken his silence after sharing a video of himself being swarmed by paparazzi in Los Angeles.

The Pop pin-up has been a firm fixture in headlines of late, most notably for teases of new music, rumors about his marriage to Hailey Bieber, and concerning behavior during Coachella.

Bieber’s latest media frenzy saw him, quite literally, turn the camera on paparazzi as he attempted to leave a building.

Watch the scenes, which he shared with his 294 million followers on Instagram, with the caption “this has to stop.”

Moments ago,  the 31-year-old addressed the matter in a message posted to social media. Declaring that he would not be “bullied” out of his LA, he wrote:

“Everyone telling me to move from LA.
U think I’m gonna get bullied to leave where my influence is most needed?
How can we make a change if we run away from the darkness?

I too have been caught up in the transactional nature of Hollywood. It’s embarrassing but with that said I want nothing to do with that as a grown adult with a wife and son, I just want to be submerged in the culture learning from any and everyone.
And be a proponent and advocate for
LOVE AND EQUALITY”
