The New Orleans icon just dropped the album cover – and it’s a nostalgic nod to ‘Tha Carter III’ and ‘Tha Carter IV’ featuring a tatted up baby Wayne flashing a rare, heart-melting smile. This time around, the artwork leans into a bold black, red, and white palette with eye-catching typography, which reads in the corner “Lil Wayne Returns with Tha Carter VI The Sixth Installment Of His Iconic Carter Series.”
Wayne’s not just stopping at visuals either, the album merch rollout is in full effect: vinyls (already sold out), CDs, signed copies, and even a hoodie showcasing every Carter cover. And with features from Andrea Bocelli to Kanye West? June 6 can’t come soon enough.
