The BET Awards 2025 is set to feature a seismic celebration of the network’s beloved countdown show 106 & Park.
And it will feature both hosts and artists synonymous with the series.

Moments ago, organizers for the Culture’s Biggest Night have announced that a 25th anniversary segment will form a central part of the June 9 broadcast.
Former hosts AJ Calloway, Free, Julissa Bermudez, Keshia Chanté, Rocsi Diaz, and Terrence J will appear together on stage.
Viewers will also be treated to electrifying performances from previous host and Mr. 106 & Park, Bow Wow, as well as B2K, Amerie, Jim Jones, Mya, and T.I.
Collectively, it will serve as a colossal toast to the countdown show, which first aired on September 11, 2000 and went on to become embedded in the fabric of Pop culture.
The news comes after it was earlier teased that a 106 & Park revival of sorts was incoming.

“106 & Park was more than just a music countdown show; it was the heartbeat of Black youth culture and one of the highest-rated BET programs for over a decade. From Freestyle Friday to unforgettable live performances, it launched careers, influenced fashion, and became a platform where voices, style, and sound converged. 106 & Park both celebrated and fueled many of the most important musical and culture evolutions that occurred during its two-and-a-half-decade tenure.”

Hosted by Kevin Hart, the BET Awards 2025 airs live from Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater on June 9 at 8 PM ET/PT on BET.
